Malcolm L. Ciccolella, 68, formerly of New Britain, died Friday, July 28, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Darlene J. Hudson Ciccolella. Born in New Britain on July 20, 1938, he was the son of the late Matteo and Carrie Tornifolio Ciccolella. He attended New Britain Schools and served in the Army Transportation Corps and was a US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. He was formerly employed at Acme Auto Parts. Surviving are his wife of thirty years, Darlene J. Hudson Ciccolella; two daughters, Judy Ciccolella of New Britain and Terry Ciccolella of Meriden; his son, Daniel Ciccolella of New Britain; his son-in-law, Christopher Weaver of Meriden; two sisters, Jean and Lillie Ciccolella both of New Britain; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Malcolm was predeceased by his brother, Anthony Ciccolella. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St. Burial, with military honors, will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
