Magdalene Mary Palmer

Magdalene Mary Palmer, 60, of New Britain, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Britain, she was a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of Geraldine (Santos) Lebby of New Britain and the late McKinley Lebby. Magdalene was formerly employed as a nurse at Monsignor Bojnowski Manor. In addition to her mother, she is survived by three children, Rochelle Palmer, James Palmer and Eric Cherry, all of New Britain; four sisters, Roseanne Lebby, Gwen Smith, Edwina Lebby, and Benita Lebby, all of New Britain and six grandchildren, Tyquan Palmer, Lynasi Johnson, James Palmer III, Jordan Palmer, Jadian Palmer and Isabelle Cherry. She was predeceased by a sister, Lillian Lebby, and two brothers, McKinley Lebby Jr. and Mallory Lebby; and her life partner, Robert Stitt. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
