Marie Madeline Solange (Lemieux) Fish of Southington was 92 years old when she left our world to join her husband (Harold) and daughter (Carol). Madeline was the second of nine children born to Alidor and Antoinette (Fournier) Lemieux in Williamstown, VT in 1922. She played a major role in raising her younger siblings especially her beloved baby brother Norman. While in VT Madeline met and married the love of her life Harold Fish. She then moved to New Britain, Connecticut to find work while Harold was fighting in Europe. Madeline was employed by Stanley Works helping the war effort in the manufacturing of ammunition. Following Harold's discharge they moved to Plainville where they raised their three children. She was predeceased by her husband and her daughter Carol, and her brothers, Conrad, Clement, Raymond, Roger, her sister Judy and several nieces and nephews. Madeline will be missed by and mourned by her daughter Diane (Juan) and son David (Carol) and by seven grandchildren as well as eleven great grandchildren. Madeline enjoyed traveling, trailer camping and playing cards, especially cribbage with her children and great grandchildren. She loved watching the UCONN women's basketball team commenting on their playing to anyone who would listen. She kept up on politics and liked to discuss and argue various political topics with her friends and family. She would be very interested in the upcoming elections.
