Madeline Cordero

Madeline Cordero, 48, of New Britain, beloved wife of Carlito Cordero passed away on Tuesday September 2, 2008 at Hartford Hospital. Madeline was born in Bridgeport, CT, the daughter of Rafaela Rodriguez of Hartford, CT and Paul Figueroa of Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. She enjoyed spending time with her husband worshipping in her brother in law's Rev. Ramon Cordero church, Templo Sion, but the times she cherished were those spent with her family. Along with her husband of 32 years, she is survived by her daughters, Ruthy Cordero and Arlina Cordero; her son, Luis Daniel Cordero; her son in law, Wilson Aviles; and by four grandchildren who were the love of her life, Ayiana and Elijah Huertas, and Madalyii and Enrique Aviles. She also leaves her four sisters, Denise Fuentes, Lillian Camacho, Damaris Kmiec and Arlina Figueroa; her five brothers, Paul Figueroa, Jessie Figueroa, Paul Junior Figueroa, Ricardo Figueroa and Johnny Fuentes; her nine nephews, Jeremy and Melissa Camacho, Victoria Shaparro and Sabriel Gamarra, Jenny and Dustin Fuentes, Stephanie Ortiz, Michael and Taylor Kmiec; one aunt and two uncles. Gone but will never be forgotten, she was our Angel on earth now she's our Angel in heaven. Funeral services and calling hours will be held Sunday evening from 6-9 PM and Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
