Lyle W. May

Lyle W. May, 68, of Clinton and formerly of Kensington, died Sunday, July 8, 2007 at home. Born in Lima, Ohio, he was the son of the late Gerald and Adda Sawmiller May. Lyle served in the army. He was a plant manager for Aerospace Textron, retiring 10 years ago. Lyle was a devoted Ohio State football fan. He enjoyed farming in Ohio and loved cooking for his family and friends. Surviving are his two sons and a daughter-in-law, Greg and Denise May of Kensington, Todd May and his fianc Liz Nogueira of East Hartford, his daughter and son-in-law, Gwen and Michael McCann of Kensington, his former wife Margery Guy May of Kensington, his five grandchildren, Maya and Grace McCann, Trevor, Taiten and Trista May, a brother Brooks May of Elida, OH and several nieces and nephews. A brother Kermit May predeceased him. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
