Luz E. Rodriguez

Luz E. Rodriguez, 48, of New Britain, passed away on Friday at Hartford Hospital. Born in Camuy, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Virginia (Cuevas) Vera of New Britain and the late Teodoro Vera. She was a New Britain resident for the past 34 years and was a member of the Puerto Rican Society. In addition to her mother Virginia, she is survived by three sons, Miguel Rodriguez Jr. of Bristol, Waldemar Rodriguez and Ramon E. Torres, both of New Britain; two daughters, Karla Vera of Southington and Lucymar Figueroa of New Britain; two brothers, Reynaldo Vera and Armando Vera, both of Puerto Rico; two sisters, Iraida Vera of Puerto Rico and Marisol Soto of New Britain; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services and calling hours will be held Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday from 9:30 to 11 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
