Luisa G. Sanchez

Luisa G. Sanchez, 77, of Newington, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the Hospital of Central CT.

Born in Baba, Provencia De Los Rio, Ecuador, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Aquilino Sanchez and Rosalia Alvarado Vera. Luisa was a former New Britain resident and was formerly employed at Aetna for 20 years. During her lifetime, Luisa was a part of Saint Mary’s Church in New Britain for over 40 years.  She was a proud member of the SEIU 32BJ Union, which included her dedication in supporting the Obama campaign.

Luisa had an unbreakable bond with her granddaughter Kamryn, who she always referred to as her “princesa.” To warm the souls of her family members, she was known for making her delicious cheese and lentil soups.  She loved going to the casinos to play slot machines and eat Chinese food at Golden Dragon. She will always and forever be in our hearts.

Surviving are her beloved daughter, Alexandra Chambers and her husband Michael of Newington; her beloved son, Adolfo Yepez, his companion, Tanya, and their daughter Kamyrn of Meriden; four brothers; and four sisters.
