Luisa Correa

Luisa Correa, 89, of New Britain, died Monday, June 20, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Estaban Correa who died in 1984.. Born in Aguada, Puerto Rico, she was a New Britain resident since 1963 and was a member of the Pentecostal church. Surviving are her children, Manuel Correa, Rosa Cruz, Alejandro Correa, Alma Cuevas, and Alba Portalatin, all of New Britain; a sister, Ramona Olivo of New York; many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services and calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
