Luis E. Mendez

Luis E. Mendez, 17, of New Britain, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007 at Hartford Hospital. Born in New Britain he was a life long resident and was a student at New Britain High School. He was a member of St. Mary Church. Surviving are his mother, Nadya Dominguez, his step-father, Adolfo Ortiz, his father, Manuel Mendez, two brothers, Manuel Mendez Jr. and Alexander Mendez, and a sister, Naesha Resto, all of New Britain A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday morning from 8:00 to 9:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain.
