Luis Jimenez

Luis Jimenez, 75, of New Britain, died peacefully on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. He was the husband of Rosalba Jimenez who died Jan. 23, 2008. Born in Colombia, South America, he was the son of the late Alfonso and Cecelia Montoya Jimenez. He was a New Britain resident since 1977 and was formerly employed at Imprint in West Hartford. Luis was a devoted and active member of St. Mary Church. Surviving are his loving daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Javier Perez of New Britain; two grandchildren, Joanna Perez Silmon and her husband Randal, and Jennifer Perez; a great-grandson, Daniel Justiniano; many nieces, nephews and cousins in Colombia; and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM at St. Mary Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday beginning at 7:30 PM and continuing until 9:30 PM at the funeral home.
