Lucindo R. Castillo

Lucindo Rosario Castillo, 89, of New Britain, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.  He was the husband of Victorina (Rivera) Castillo, who died in 2014.

Born in San Germán, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Juan Rosario and Teresa Castillo.  He lived in New Britain for over 65 years and was formerly employed at Stanley Works.  Lucindo was a member of St. Mary Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Gladys Rosario; a son Carlos Rosario and his wife Judy Martell Rosario; five grandchildren, Victor Otero, Dianna Haroian, Timothy Haroian, Melissa Rosario and Marlena Champagne and her husband Eric Champagne; three great-grandchildren, Alex Otero, Isabelle Cherry and Savannah Champagne; and several nephews including Adamel Rosario
