Lorraine J. St. Mary (Santa Maria), 81, of Burlington, a former long time New Britain resident, died Friday, June 17, 2011 at the Hospital of Central CT. She was the widow of Frank St. Mary who died in 1997. Born in Plainville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Carbone) Pelligrini. She was a New Britain resident most of her life and was a devoted member of St. Ann's Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Ladies Guild. Surviving are four sons, Frank Santa Maria and his wife Andrea of New Britain, David Santa Maria and his wife Kathleen of Burlington, Joseph Santa Maria and his wife Susan, also of Burlington, John Santa Maria and his wife Terri of West Hartford; a sister, Alma Vallen of Farmington; seven grandchildren, Christine Forcier and her husband Matthew, Michael Santa Maria and his fiancée Jennie, Michelle Sienicki and her husband Arthur, Frank Santa Maria IV, Joseph Santa Maria, James Santa Maria, and Victoria Santa Maria; three great-grandchildren, Christian Davidson, Jacob Sienicki, and Nora Forcier; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, James Santa Maria. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday from 5-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
