Lorena G. Rose

Lorena G. Rose, age 66, passed away October 1, 2021.  She was born in Southington, CT, but resided in New Britain most of her life.  She leaves behind her loving husband (Eddie Rose).  She was predeceased by her mother (Kathleen Gorneault), father (Ron Lewis), and grandson (Malek Rose).  She also leaves behind a sister (Susan Johnsey).  She is survived by her three children (Paul Lewis, Lakesha Lewis, and Corrie Lewis).  She also leaves behind grandchildren (Jakeem, Corrie Jr., Jhiquan, Destiny, Nevaeh, Jahvae, Aiyana, Arionna, Tristan, Joshua, Dashawn and Victoria).  Lorena also has numerous step children, great grandchildren, and other loved ones we can’t fit on this page and there are way too many to list.  We all know how she felt about her loved ones.  She loved hard and never counted anyone out.  She was one in a million and had a heart of gold.  If you needed an ear or somewhere to rest, you got just that!  She was a blessing to many of us and she will be truly missed and never forgotten.

Calling hours and funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 6 ^th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main Street, New Britain.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 120 Smalley Street, New Britain.  A repass will be held following the burial at Pride of CT Elks Lodge, 24 Elm Street, New Britain.
