Lois Jane Scagliotti

Lois Jane Scagliotti, 83, formerly of Berlin, widow of Albert Scagliotti, died peacefully on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Southington Care Center. Born in Berlin, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen Wallace Schroeder. Lois was a long time Berlin resident before moving to Southington in 2007. She was a member of the Berlin Congregational Church. Surviving are two daughters, Robin Kelly and her husband Stephen of Newington, Jill Slusarski and her husband Ron of Narragansett, RI; a sister, June Calderone of Berlin; a sister-in-law, Eleanor Cayer; three grandchildren, Brian Kelly, Holly Fuscaldo, and Heidi Slusarski-Grant; a great-grandson, Ryan Charles Fuscaldo; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, William Schroeder, and two sisters, Dorothy Daley and Elizabeth Bishop. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 PM at Berlin Congregational Church, with Rev. Thomas Calderone officiating. Burial will be in Maple Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
