Lois Florence Porch, 91, a former Bristol resident, died peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005 at Pilgrim Manor in Cromwell. She was the widow of Wilson Porch. Born in Waterbury, she was the daughter of the late George and Florence Scholey Porch. Lois was a long-time Bristol resident and was formerly employed at American Brass in Waterbury. She moved to Cromwell in 1999. Lois was a kind-hearted person, who loved her family dearly. She enjoyed reading, playing the piano, painting, and was appreciated and loved by all who knew her. Surviving are three daughters, Joan Greisner and her husband William of Bristol, Martha Cabral and her husband Frank of Florida, and Linda Berberian of Bristol and her former husband Jacques A. Berberian of New Britain; nine grandchildren, Bill and John Greisner, Christine Badal, Karen Lingenfelter, Lisa Gove, Frank Jr. and James Cabral, Jacques and Ingrid Berberian; 18 grandchildren; and her nephew John Porch of Bristol. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol. Burial will be in Forestville Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 5-8 PM at O'Brien Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Benevolent Care Fund at Covenant Village of Cromwell, 52 Missionary Rd., Cromwell, CT 06416.
