Lois Dahlgren

Lois Olson Dahlgren, 99, of Cromwell, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 10, 2011 at Pilgrim Manor in Cromwell. She was the widow of Oscar Dahlgren. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Jennie Johnson Olson. Lois was a long time New Britain resident until moving to Florida in 1978 and Cromwell in 1983. She was formerly employed at the New Britain Gas Co. and was the oldest living member of Bethany Covenant Church before her passing. She is survived by a niece, Ulla Dahlgren Swanson and her husband Gunnard of Oregon, WI, a cousin Verna Macmillan, with whom she was very close, other cousins in Connecticut, and a brother-in-law. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM at Bethany Covenant Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain. There are no calling hours.
