Linda Pauline Chrissluis

OBITUARY: Linda Chrissluis Linda Pauline Chrissluis, 52, of New Britain, became an angel on Friday, Feb. 8, 2002 at home surrounded by her loved ones. A loving mentor and courageous soul, Linda battled cancer for the past two years. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Angelo A. Tolis Sr. and Rose Fuller Tolis. She was a life-long resident and was formerly employed at Walmart. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and served as a volunteer for CCARC and the Special Olympics. She was also involved with DMR. Surviving are two loving daughters, Rachel Chrissluis and Jill Chrissluis, both of New Britain; three brothers, Angelo A. Tolis Jr. of Plainville, Richard Tolis of Tucson, AR, and George Tolis of Kensington; three sisters, Yvonne Dumas of Harwinton, Carol O'Brien of Wallingford, and Rosemary Schneider of New Britain; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Linda will be greatly missed and her vitality and spirit will forever be celebrated by all. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 1:00 pm at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1755 Stanley St. New Britain. Burial will be private at Fairview Cemetery. In respect of Linda's wishes, there will be no calling hours. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
