Lillian Theresa Wish

Lillian Theresa Wish, 74, of Newport, NC, died Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Theodore T. Wish, Sr. Born in Nanticoke, PA she was a former resident of Berlin, and has been a resident of Newport, NC since 1989. Lillian was a waitress at Wonder Bar, Surrey Restaurant, Hickory Hart, Holiday Inn, Quality Inn, and Trinity Center in North Carolina. She was also the former owner, with her husband, of Grinderland in Berlin, before retiring. She was a former member of Sacred Heart Church, East Berlin. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Fred A. and Lynne Wish and their son Kevin of East Berlin, Theodore T. Jr. and Tammy Wish and their children Amanda Wish, John, Jeff, James, and Joel Collins of Woodstock; a daughter and son-in-law Sheila Jean and Richard Potter and their children Christopher and Scott Tomassi, Richard Potter III and Bryan Potter of NC; a brother Louis Rembilas of Toms River, NJ; a sister Josephine Tokar of Nanticoke, PA; one great grandson, Joshua Tomassi; and several nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So.
