Lillian Elizabeth Knierim

Lillian Elizabeth Worth Knierim, 90 of Southington, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002 at home. She was the widow of Charles Knierim. Born in Hollis Queens, NY, she was a former New York and Watertown, CT resident before moving to Southington 28 years ago. She was formerly employed as a court stenographer in New York and later at Allied Control in Southington, before retiring. She was a member of Calendar House for 25 years and was a avid crafter. Lillian was a seasonal camper and was a support of various wildlife organizations. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Carol Knierim and a grandson, Richard Knierim, both of Southington. She was predeceased by her son, Richard Knierim.t A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002 at 7:00 PM at the Plantsville Congregational Church. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurses Association. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, New Britain, is in charge of arrangements.
