Lillian Gordon Guenther

Lillian Gordon Guenther, 90, of New Britain, died peacefully on Wednesday,January 28, 2004 at Haven Healthcare in Farmington. She was the devoted wife of the late George J. Guenther. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Jessica Thayer Gordon. Surviving are a daughter, Judith Donati of Southington; three sons and two daughters-in- law, Ronald and Nora Guenther of New Britain, Merwin and Helen Guenther of Plainville, and Harry Guenther of Meriden. She was the loving grandmother of fourteen grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son and daughter-in-law, George Guenther and his wife Lois, formerly of Kensington; a son-in-law, Louis Donati; and a daughter-in-law, Christine Guenther. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours are Saturday morning from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S.
