Lilli Augsburger Divalentino

Lilli Augsburger DiValentino, 75, of Farmington, beloved wife of Cesidio “Danny” DiValentino, died peacefully on Friday, Jan. 18, 2008 at Haven Healthcare in Farmington. Born in Poland, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Ida Reich Augsburger. She was a New Britain resident before moving to Farmington 40 years ago. Lilli was formerly employed as a teachers aid in the New Britain School System and was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Britain. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Karen McGown and her husband Michael of Norwalk; four sisters, Melanie Davies of New Britain, Luci Arendt of Westerly, RI, Eugenia Novak of Farmington and Erica MacKendrick of Southington; two grandchildren, Justin and Kali; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Danny DiValentino, and by two sisters, Marta Strak and Ala Kruglik. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:30 PM at St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday from 2-5 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Memorial donations may be made St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church, 295 Arch St., New Britain, CT 06051 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 279 New Britain Rd, Kensington, CT 06037.
