Levant Azarigian

Levant Azarigian, 87, of Chapin, S.C., formerly of New Britain, CT, went into the waiting arms of his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 18, 2004. He was born on May 22, 1916, the son of the late Levon and Shooshan Azarigian. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Gloria Azarigian of almost sixty years, three brothers Varton Azarigian his twin brother, Monty Bagdigian and Peter Bagdigian. His greatest pride in life was his family. His greatest joy was fishing and gardening. Mr. Azarigian is survived by his two sons, Clifford Azarigian and his wife Mary Ann of Indian Trail, NC and Gary Azarigian and his wife Vicki of Chapin, SC, a brother Harry Azarigian of New Britain, a sister Rose Davidian of Farmington, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 22, 2004, at the Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Saturday morning from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. New Britain. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection, 1910 Stanley St. New Britain, CT.
