Leopold Boutin, 94, of Newington, passed away peacefully at home on Monday. He was the beloved husband of Juliette (Labreque) Boutin. Born in Quebec, Canada, he was the son of the late Alfred and Alice (Laflamme) Boutin. Leopold is a former New Britain resident, moving to Newington 39 years ago. He worked for Stanley Works for 32 years, retiring in 1982. After retiring, he worked as a driver for NAPA and became known by his nickname "Frenchie". Leopold was a member of Holy Spirit Church where he spent many hours volunteering his time. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sisters Doris Fazzina of Kensington, and Georgette Roy of New Britain, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in Canada, and several nieces and nephews. A private Memorial service was held on Saturday. Entombment was in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
