Laura Michaud
Laura Michaud, 83, of Bristol, widow of Josephel Michaud, passed away at home on Saturday, January 16, 2016.
Born in Siegas, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Almina (Tardif) Desjardins. She was a Bristol resident since 1961 and is a Jehovah Witness.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Plourde and her husband Martin of Holliston, MA, and Joanne Deshaine of Bristol; two sons, Donald Michaud of Canada, Robert Michaud and his wife Joanne of Biddeford, ME; a brother, Gerald Desjardins and her sisters Alida Desjardins, Henrietta Bourdoin, and Margella Desjardins, all of Canada: her grandchildren, Annie Michaud, Julie Michaud, Sebella Michaud, and Jamin Deschaine; and a great-granddaughter, Lillian Celina. Laura was predeceased by her brothers, Albeo, Ivan, Ronald, Norbert, and Reginald; and predeceased by her sisters, Wida, Rena, Stella, and Jeanette. Special thanks to her nieces, Brenda Caron and Collette Akerley.
A memorial talk will take place on Friday, Jan. 22, 2016 at 7 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 197 Jerome Ave, Bristol, CT. There are no calling hours. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
