Laura G. Mcelroy

Laura G. McElroy, 57, of Meriden, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006 at Haven Healthcare Center in Cromwell. Born in Meriden, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Maria Galluzzo Guidace. She was a long time Meriden resident and was formerly employed in banking. She was a former member of St. Joseph Church in Meriden. Surviving are two sons, Jason McElroy and Randy McElroy, both of Wallingford, a daughter, Stacey Geisbrandt and her husband Edward of Meriden, two brothers, Vincent Guidace and is wife Helen of Virginia and Francis Guidace and his wife Nam of Nevada; a sister, Maria Grant of Florida; a granddaughter, Amber Geisbrandt; nieces and nephews, Linda Fongemie, Mary Insalaco, Dori Insalaco, Donna Pitts, Kristen Guidace, Alexander Guidace, and Caterina Guidace; and several grandnieces and grandnephews. Calling hours are Friday evening from 5-7 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden.
