La'Tesha N. Billue

La'Tesha N. Billue-Fine departed this life on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut at New Britain General.

A graduate of East Hartford High School, she dreamed of becoming a nurse. La'Tesha brought joy and love to everyone. She was always willing to help and give you a word of encouragement. She overcame many obstacles and faced them with dignity, pride and always respectful. A God-fearing woman. A ray of sunshine, a light that uplifted others even when she was going through herself. 'Tesha loved cooking, dancing and singing.

She was predeceased by her grandmother: Ruby D. Williams; her two grandfathers: Willie Williams and James Green; and her brother; Willie E. Williams.

She is survived by her loving husband: Michael Fine; her mother: Shirley Williams; her father: Reginald (Sherrell) Billue; her step-son: Azariah Fine; her step-daughter: Shya Fine; her brother: Cameron Glass; her grandmother: Andrea Billue of Dublin, GA; her grandfather: Jerry Evans; her step-father: Edwin Glass of East Hartford; and a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 45 Daly Ave, New Britain at 11:00AM. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at church.
