Kerry Renee Singleton

Kerry Renee Singleton 43, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 29, 2022. She was born in Bristol on June 12, 1979 and was the daughter of Daniel and Debra (Cochran) Singleton.

In addition to her parents, Kerry is survived by her beloved children: Kaya and Kamryn Jackson-Singleton; her grandson Kaezel Leonard Singleton; her lifelong friend and father of her children: Jeral Jackson; her seven sisters: Nicole (Clinton) Weston, Mary Cochran, Tonya Pina, Theresa Singleton, Danielle (Shaun like her brother) Byrd, Veronica Cambell and Maya Monteleone, her grandparents: Thaddeus Sr. and Pastor Irene Singleton; her two god parents: Chippy Singleton and Velma Bell, her goddaughters: Teena (Tucker) Millsap and Tatitana Singleton; and an abundance of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and lifetime friends. She is predeceased by her grandparents: Robert and Francis Cochran; and her brother T.L. (Rux) Singleton and her Aunt Renee Singleton.

Kerry was a member of Tower of Hope Christian Ministries and she held onto her faith despite any challenge. She loved her family with every piece of her heart. Her kids and her grandson were EVERYTHING to her. If she had her family, her jams playing, her sneakers on, and a cup of ice in hand, she was all set. Kerry worked in healthcare her entire adult life and the way she cared for others in and outside of her career is a true reflection of her nickname {Ker Bear}.

Kerry Renee will be truly missed beyond what any words can describe and she will never be forgotten!

A prayer service will be held at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain, on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 6:00PM. Calling hours will be held prior from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to Mary Cochran, 35 Oaken Rd, Bristol, CT 06010 to offset funeral expenses. A donation will also be made to a foundation of the family’s choice in Kerry’s name.
