Karl Heinz Rink

Karl Heinz Rink, 84, of New Britain, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at home. Born in Germany, he was the son of the late Robert and Edith Rink. He lived in New Britain most of his life and was formerly employed at Tuttle and Bailey. He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Austrian Donau Club. Surviving are a daughter, Ingrid Rink-Brown and her husband Bill of Switzerland; three grandchildren, Clayton Brown, Daniel Brown, and Lana Brown; cherished friends, Gloria Johnson-Shaw and Doris DePrey; and his former wife, Erna Rink of Florida. He was predeceased by a son, Robert Rink. A memorial service will be held Monday, the 7th of April at 5:00pm at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Lehigh Acres, FL. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 295 Arch St., New Britain, CT.
