Julia Topolski Ciacci, 87, of New Britain, mother of Elaine Ferraguto of Kensington, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2003 at the Jerome Home. She was the widow of Evo Ciacci. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Pauline Kapen Topolski. She was a long time New Britain resident and was an active member of St. Jerome Church. She was formerly employed at Manchester Modes. Surviving are her loving daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Philip Ferraguto of Kensington; a sister, Helen Hines of S. Windsor two brothers, Benjamin Topolski of Windsor and Joseph Topolski of Palm Bay, FL; two grandsons, David Ferraguto and Philip Ferraguto; five great-grandchildren, Douglas, Jillian, Julia, Lauren and Sophia; her niece and godchild, Paula Harrison; and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Douglas Ciacci. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:30 Am at St. Paul's Church, Kensington. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at Erickson-Hansen Funeral home, Monday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
