Judy Lee McIntosh

Judy Lee McIntosh passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026. She was born on November 19, 1941 and was a life time resident of Berlin.

Judy leaves behind her sister-in-law Esther McIntosh, her beloved nephew Scott McIntosh, her niece Lisa McIntosh, and her best friend Helen Dorsey who diligently oversaw her care for decades.

Judy was outgoing and full of love and joy. Her family and friends were the center of her world. She enjoyed the simple things in life, having many happy hours shopping, visiting the CT shoreline and searching out the ultimate hamburger spot.

She is predeceased by her father Dr. John “Doc” McIntosh, her mother Bess, along with her brothers John and Ted.

Judy was one of the catalysts for the foundation of the CCARC (Central CT Association for Retarded Citizens) by her father and others. Judy was an active participant in the CCARC choir, workshops, art festivals, and many other programs CCARC was affiliated with.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CCARC for whom the family has spent much time and support, or the CT Humane Society to whom Judy’s love of all dogs and cats was endless.

A graveside service will be held on April 18, 2026 at 11 AM at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Rocky Hill.
