Judith A. Olson

Judith A. Olson, 58, of New Britain, a very sweet and gentle soul, passed from this earth on Monday, Nov. 24, 2008 at Brittany Farms Healthcare Center. Born in New Britain, Judy was a graduate of New Britain High School, Class of 1969 and was a life-long New Britain resident. Judy was a soldier in the Salvation Army. Surviving are her father Harold A. Olson of New Britain, her step mother, Lorraine Florio Olson; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Michael Michalski of Southington and their children Anthony Michalski and Michael J. Michalski; a sister-in-law, Cathy Olson Garuti of Terryville; her niece and Godchild, Carolee Olson; and many cousins and close friends. Judy is now reunited with family and friends who predeceased her including her mother, Ada Conti Olson, her brother, Mark H. Olson, her sister, Nannette Olson, and her companion, Harold Westman. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Calling hours are Friday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be held privately in Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Lutheran Church, 77 Franklin Square, New Britain, CT 06051 or the Salvation Army, 78 Franklin Square, New Britain, CT 06051.
