Judith D'Anna

Judith D’Anna, 67, of New Britain, Connecticut passed away comfortably on January 13, 2022.  She was born in Lewiston, Maine on June 30, 1954 to the late Camille and Ida Dumond.  Judy married her sweetheart, the late Tony D’Anna, at age 15 whom she cherished and loved unconditionally. In addition to raising their children, Judy enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her grandchildren beyond measure. She adored her mother-in-law, whom she learned a lot from, especially how to cook many Italian dishes. She had a very special bond with her her father-in-law the late Biagio D’Anna. She enjoyed vacationing with Tina and Sebby Caruso and cruising was one of her favorite past times. She was known for her loving and gentle nature, great sense of humor and love for animals. She wore her heart on her sleeve and always found the good in people. To know her was to love her and we are all so very blessed to have been a part of her life. She is survived, and will be dearly missed, by sons Jason D’Anna of New Britain and Tony D’Anna and his wife Vanessa of Berlin, her sister Carline and her husband Dennis LaBrie of West Virginia, her sister-in-law Tina and husband Sebby Caruso, sister-in-law Rosie D’Anna, sister-in-law Maria and husband Rich Gagnon, brother-in-law Pat D’Anna, and sister-in-law Anna D’Anna who was married to the late Frank D’Anna. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews. Judy is pre-deceased by her son Biagio D’Anna, who gracefully took care of her for many years. She loved her grandchildren: Victoria, Brandon, Katie, Anthony and Arianna. Judy will be remembered for having the most kind and gentle soul, strong will, love for life and her family. She lives on through all of us, and in each memory that we have shared with her. Funeral services will be on January 21 st at St. Mary’s Cemetery in New Britain at 1pm. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, New Britain, is in charge of arrangements.
