Juan A. Sanchez

Juan A. Sanchez, 72, of New Britain, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. Born in Puerto Rico, he was formerly employed at General Electric in Plainville. Surviving are his wife, Maria Rivera Sanchez; four sons, Sergio, Israel, Ruben, and Benjamin; seventeen brothers and sisters, Andrea Ortiz, Angel Sanchez, Julia Calderon, Crescencia Collet, Andres Sanchez, Isabel Rosa, Angel L. Sanchez, Robert Sanchez, Jose A. Sanchez, Juanita Gaskewich, Maria L. Sanchez, Ceferino Sanchez, Florencio Sanchez, Carmen Sanchez, Elpidio Burgos, Fidel Burgos, and Eduardo Burgos; his step mother, Juana Bracero; many grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services and calling hours will be held Saturday from 6-9 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
