Juan R. "Ray" Feliciano

Juan R. “Ray” Feliciano, 71, of New Britain, husband of Sandra Feliciano, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain.

Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Ramon Feliciano and Julia Gonzalez.  Juan was a member of the Connecticut National Guard and the Army Reserve.  He was a New Britain resident since 1981 and was formerly employed as a mechanic.  Juan had a passion for fishing, antique cars and car shows, games of cards and dominoes, and cooking. He was kind, caring, and generous to his family and friends, always willing to extend a hand and give what he could to help others. Juan attended St. Mary Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Cruz) Feliciano; his sister, Luz Maria; his four children: sons, Juan and wife Natalie, Jose and wife Christine, Raymond, and his daughter, Arlene; seven grandchildren: Joshua, Eric-Matthew, Andrew, Christian, Kaitlyn, Jonathan, and Alexander; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Wednesday morning from 9 AM to 10:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM at St. Mary Church.
