Josephine Baruffi

Josephine Baruffi, 82, of Southington, widow of Albert A. Baruffi, who she loved dearly, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Ledgecrest Health Care Center. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Fazzina) Aparo. Josephine was a former New Britain and Newington resident before moving to Southington. She was formerly employed at American Bazaar and was a member of St. Joseph Church in New Britain, for over 40 years. Surviving are her son, Ron Hartunian and his wife June of Southington; a sister, Mary Sargis of Plainville; and four grandchildren, Joel Hartunian, Shane Hartunian, Jeffrey Hartunian, Alissa Hartunian and 9 nieces & nephews and 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Richard Hartunian, Albert Baruffi, Jr. and a daughter, Lisa Baruffi. May they all rejoice in heaven! The family would like to extend special thanks to the entire staff at Ledgecrest Health Care Center for their dedication and kindness, especially nurse Vivian. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. A calling hour will be Wednesday morning from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.
