It is with great sorrow that we share that our son Joseph Michael Veneziano II, 41, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2022.
Joseph was born on June 7, 1980 in Bristol to Joseph Michael Veneziano SR of New Britain and Kathy (Michaud) Veneziano Mancini of Southington.
Joey attended school in Plainville & Berlin before settling in New Britain. He proudly established JV Stoneworks LLC, his home improvement company, before moving on to become certified as a personal trainer. Joey loved to work out, and motivate others to do so as well. He was well versed in nutrition and strived to eat healthy, not to say he didn’t slip here and there, especially when it came to baked goods! Joey’s proudest moment was when his son JoJo was born! Joey’s greatest joy was being with his son, who he loves deeply. Family gatherings, and family traditions where so important to Joey. He loved holiday & birthday get-togethers, they meant so much to him.
Besides his parents, Joey is survived by his son, Joseph Michael Veneziano III, his sister Kristin Veneziano, his Godson and nephew, Luca Veneziano, his niece Isabella Veneziano, his step father Jack Mancini, his “Nonni” Rose Michaud, his Godfather and Uncle, Michael Veneziano II and his wife Aunt Beverly, his Godmother Laurie Boyd, his Aunt Carrie Anderson and husband Mark, his Aunt Karen Misluk, his Uncle Tony Michaud and wife Aunt Chelsea, his Aunt Donna Masotti and husband Uncle Bob, and several cousins & many extended family, Gray Gallagher and his girlfriend, Janeen Sampson. Joey was predeceased by his Grandfathers, James Michaud & Michael Veneziano SR, his grandmother Sarah Veneziano, his Aunt Roz Ierna, and cousin Michael Veneziano III.
Joey also leaves behind many friends, who he loved and treasured. His smile would brighten the room, and he had a way with people that drew them in. Once a friend, always a friend.
