Joseph P. Murzyn

Joseph P. Murzyn, 59, of New Britain, died Thursday, July 9, 2009 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut after a long illness. Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Constanty and Nellie Bizis Murzyn. He was a life-long New Britain resident and was a member of St. Andrew Church. Surviving are five sisters, Irene Salamaj, Margaret Urbanski, Helen Stangas, Dorothy Fisher, and Dolores Gosselin; four brothers, Richard Murzyn, Walter Murzyn, Edward Murzyn and Peter Murzyn; and many nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held on Monday at St. Mary Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
