Joseph Eshoo

Joseph Jack Eshoo, 59, of Berlin, husband of Jill (Swent) Eshoo, passed away unexpected at home on Friday, February 22, 2013. Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Baba and Youlia (Gerimia) Eshoo. He was a former New Britain resident before moving to Berlin in 2001. He was employed at O'Neil Chevrolet and was formerly employed at Parson's in Farmington. Joseph enjoyed fishing and gardening. He loved to go hunting and caring for his dogs. In addition to his wife Jill, he is survived by a daughter, Samantha Eshoo of Florida; four brothers, Peter Eshoo and his wife Barbara, and Robert Eshoo, all of New Britain, Benjamin Eshoo and his wife Debbie, John Eshoo and his wife Kim, all of Farmington; his granddaughter, Mianna Eshoo; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
