Joe met the love of his life, Eleanore, and they shared nearly 60 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a loving family. Joe is survived by his sons, Joseph (Joanne) DeSena of Queen Creek, AZ, and Michael (Erin) DeSena of Burlington, CT. He was a cherished grandfather, known as Bepa or Pepa, to his grandchildren Alyssa, Katrina, Anthony, and Samantha DeSena. He is also survived by his two sisters, Mary Ann Booth and Jean Abbatiello.

Joe's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Tyson and the entire team at Shady Oaks Assisted Living for their exceptional care and compassion during Joe's final years. The staff's unwavering dedication and kindness provided Joe with comfort and dignity, making a significant difference in his life. Their support and attentiveness were a source of strength for Joe and his loved ones, and their efforts will always be remembered with deep appreciation.
