Joseph A. Carlino

Joseph A. Carlino, 36, of Cheshire died Sunday at Hartford Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Heather Speer Carlino. Born in Manhasset, Long Island, NY, he was the son of Lucille Guido and the late Joseph Carlino. Joe was an avid fan of all sports but particularly baseball and the NY Mets. He attended Kensington Baptist Church. In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his two sons, Salvatore and Matthew Carlino of Cheshire, his three daughters Jessica, Danielle and Caitlyn Carlino all of Cheshire, a sister Christine Carlino of Cheshire, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Herb and Jan Speer of Kensington, his two brothers-in-law Scott Speer and his wife Dawn of Kensington and Drew Speer and his wife Renee of New Britain and his sister-in-law Dawn Speer of Kensington. Joe was predeceased by his brother Robert Carlino. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at Kensington Baptist Church, 222 Lincoln St., Kensington, CT. Burial will be in South Burying Grounds, Kensington. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. New Britain, CT.
