Jose A. Pabon

Jose A. Pabon, 73, of New Britain, died peacefully Wednesday, November 23, 2005. He was the beloved husband of Maria R. Pabon. Born in San German, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Jesus and Rita Cancel Pabon. Jose was a member of St. Mary Church. In addition to his wife Jose is survived by seven sons Ramon and his wife Evelyn and Victor and his wife Isabel Pabon of Puerto Rico, and Wilfredo and his wife Norma Pabon, Jose A., Jose Hiran, Jesus and Henry Pabon, all of New Britain, his daughter Iris Irizarry and her husband Juan of New Britain, fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, his brother Luis Pabon of Puerto Rico, three sisters Lucresia del Moral of Puerto Rico, Rita Pabon of Puerto Rico, Rosa Pabon of New Britain and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Maria Cancel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Mary Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday evening from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers for Jose were his sons Wilfredo, Jose A., Victor, and Henry; his grandsons Wilfredo Jr. and Juan Irizarry Jr.; and his son-in-law Juan Irizzary.
