John A. Pietrick

John A. Pietrick, 90, of New Britain, died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002. Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was a New Britain resident for most of his life and was formerly employed at Stanley Works for over 40 years, retiring in 1976. He was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church where he was a former member of the Church Council, and was a member of the Stanley Seniors. He was formerly active with Boy Scouts Troop 22 and was a former member and past president of the NBHS Parents Music Boosters. Surviving are his wife, Frances M. Steiner Pietrick, a son, John F. ''Jack'' Pietrick and his wife Robin of Avon; two granddaughters, Jenna Pietrick and Jill Pietrick; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 295 Arch St. New Britain. Calling hours are Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S.
