John Krawiec
John J. Krawiec, 87, of Southington, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain.
Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late John and Bertha (Andrzejczyk). John was a long time New Britain resident before moving to Southington. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. John was formerly employed at Caval Tool and Machine in Newington before retiring and was a member of St. Mary Church in New Britain.
Surviving are a son, John B. Krawiec; a brother, Edward Krawiec and his wife Geri of Darien, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Mary Church in New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
