John Albert Elliotte Sr., 86, of New Britain, died peacefully on Monday, July 31, 2006 at New Britain General Hospital. He was the husband of the late Helen Carbone Elliotte. Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Frederick and Mildred Napolitano Elliotte. He was a life long New Britain resident and was formerly employed at Goss & Deleeuw Machine Co. before retiring. He was a member of St. Joseph Church. John loved fishing and listening to country music. Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Carmella and Vinnie LaFountain of Plainville, Joanne and Ronnie Salvatore of Bristol, Patti Elliotte and Edwin Rosado of New Britain; a son and daughter-in-law, John Elliotte Jr.and Eileen of Deltona FL.; a brother, Francis Elliotte of Farmington; several grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours are from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St. New Britain.
