John F. Daley, Jr.

John F. Daley, Jr., 88, of Berlin, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 21, 2015. He was the widower of Dorothy (Schroeder) Daley. Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late John F. Daley, Sr. and Esther (Bailey) Daley. John has been a long time Berlin resident and former resident of New Britain. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII and worked as a Tool and Die maker at Pratt and Whitney, retiring 25 years ago. The family would like to thank the Alzheimer's Resource Center of Southington for the wonderful care they extended to John. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law John W. and Carole Daley of Windham, two daughters and son-in-law, Nancy and Jeffrey Miller of Berlin, Kathleen and Wayne Dansro of Southington, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, his brother William Daley of Southington, and three sisters, Marion Streman of Bethel, Elizabeth Nelligan of Avon, and Catherine Ulan of East Longmeadow, MA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Maple Cemetery, Berlin.
