Johana Gallego

Johana Gallego, 34, of New Britain died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 19, 2014. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of Guillermo Gallego and Maritza (Torres) Cepeda. Johana was employed as a Nurses Aide at the Hospital for Special Care and attended St. Mary Church. Surviving are her parents, Guillermo Gallego and his wife Martha Duque, and Maritza Cepeda and her husband Jose Cepeda, all of New Britain; her children, Miguel Angel Castillo and Tatiana Mercedes; a brother Joseph Colon; a sister, Maria Colon; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Mary Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 6-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
