Jesus Esparra Jr.

Jesus Esparra, Jr., 49, of New Britain, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Hospital of Central CT, New Britain.

Born in New Britain, he was the son of Jesus Esparra and the late Olga (Davila) Esparra.  Jesus has been a lifelong New Britain resident and a member of St. Mary Church.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his brother Ricardo Esparra of New Britain, his two sisters and a brother-in-law, Olga and William Sobota of Burlington, Maria Esparra of Bristol, his nephew William Sobota Jr., and nieces Latoya Esparra and Leah Martinez.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:30 AM directly at St. Mary Church.   Private burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery.   Calling hours will be Thursday evening from 5-7 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.
