Jesus Alvarado

Jesus Alvarado 89, born on July 31,1935, passed away peacefully at home on August 9, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Jesus also known as "Don Chucho" was predeceased by his loving wife, Aida Alvarado, and his daughter Elizabeth McCullough. He is survived by his children, Dolores, Jesus "Jumpshot" Jr., and Evelyn Alvarado, Maria her husband Benito Ayala, and Monse Capasso. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, many families and friends.

Known as the life of the party, Jesus had a deep love for music, and his fondness for Fireball was well known, he enjoyed playing dominoes and Jenga with friends and family.  Jesus brought warmth and happiness to everyone he met creating countless memories that will be cherished forever.

Jesus's presence in our lives was a gift and he will be deeply missed.

Our Family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to a loving person who meant the world to him Maryliza Morales, HHC "Hospice Team" for taking such great care of our beloved dad, CT Community Care, and Careforth.

Calling hours will be held on August 15th, from 6pm-8pm. Funeral services will be on August 16th, from 10am-11am at the Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. New Britain. He will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in New Britain.
