Jesse M. Bone

OBITUARY: Jesse M. Bone Jesse M. Bone, of New Britain, CT passed away on Nov. 21, 2002 at Yale-New Haven Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Hollywood, Ala. on Nov. 6, 1918, he was the son of the late Elijah and Beulah Bone. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Bone; a daughter, Veronica L. Coker; his granddaughter, Shaunda Sledge and her husband Clyde Sledge; two great-grandchildren, Jahod Sledge and Jadyn Sledge; all of West Haven, CT; two sisters, Sadie Ramey of Washington, D.C. and Nora Bone of Meriden, CT; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St. New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu flowers, donations may be made in Jesse's memory to the American Cancer Society, Meriden Executive Park, 538 Preston Ave., Meriden, CT 06450-1004.
