Jeannine Parent

Jeannine Parent, 89, formerly of Kensington, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022.  She was the widow of Phillip Parent.

Born in St. David, ME, she was the daughter of the late Pierre Cyr and Leona (Daigle) Cyr.  Jeannine was a former New Britain resident before moving to Kensington.   She was formerly employed at Fafnir Bearing Co. for 27 years, retiring in 1992.  Jeannine was a former member of St. Mary Church in New Britain and was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of St Jean de Baptiste Society.

Surviving are one son, Michael Parent of New Britain; four daughters, Ruth Muratori and her late husband Albert of New Britain, Janet Marino of New Hampshire, Beverly Bragg and her husband Leo of East Berlin, and Charlene Parent of New Britain; her grandchildren, Karen Petersen (Tron), Rachel Marino Delgadillo (Jon), Sean Parent, and Kayla Parent; and her great-grandchildren, Willow Petersen, Jack Petersen, Chloe Parent, and Aiden Delgadillo.  She was predeceased by a daughter, BettyAnn Parent, and by two sons, Roger Parent and Carl Parent.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 12 PM at Bethany Covenant Church, 785 Mill St., Berlin.  Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.  Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-7 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.
